Day 1: Zagreb

Arrival in Zagreb

Day 2: Zagreb - Đakovo - Osijek
The tour consists of a bus ride and stroll during which we visit the most attractive locations in Zagreb: Croatian National Theatre, Park Zrinjevac, St. Mark's Square and Church known for its colorful roof, fort Lotrščak, Stone Gate, Cathedral of Zagreb, Ban Jelacic Square and fountain Manduševac.
Departure to Osijek. Stop and visit to Đakovo stud farm. One of the oldest in Europe, Đakovo stud farm (founded in 1506) is known for its long tradition of horse breeding in the area. In addition to breeding and selection of horses, farm also does horse training. Its quality is confirmed by contestant's many notable sucesses in the horse competitions. Tour of the farm.

Day 3: Osijek – Kopački rit – Osijek
Tour of Osijek, the largest city in Slavonia and the fourth largest city in Croatia. Osijek old city, Tvrđa, is a baroque castle-fortress from the 18th century, around whose walls Osijek was later built. In addition to the Fortress, the city is also known for the Cathedral of Sts. Peter and Paul, which is considered one of the most impressive ones in Croatia.
Departure for Kopački rit. This nature park and the most important ornithological reserve in Croatia consists of a web of channels between the rivers Danube and Drava. Known for the diversity of its flora and fauna, Kopački rit is the habitat for more than 2,000 biological species.

Day 4: Osijek - Vukovar - Ilok - Osijek
Departure for Vukovar. This old baroque city is today known for its great suffering during Homeland war as it was completely destroyed.
Among a great number of attractive, but severely damaged buildings during the war, we must point out the Eltz Castle from the 18th century, Baroque buildings in the city center, the Franciscan monastery and the parish church of Sts. Philip and James.
The city is also known for Ovčara, a place of the former hangar for storage, which was during the war turned into concentration camp with 3000-4000 prisoners.
Outside the city, on the banks of the Danube toward Ilok is Vučedol, a rich archaeological site.
Departure to Ilok, the easternmost town in Croatia, known for its wines winemaking tradition, and a variety of wine cellars. Visit to Ilok cellars and wine tasting.

Day 5: Osijek - Varaždin - Trakoščan - Zagreb
Departure to Varaždin. Tour of Varaždin and visit to Varaždin cemetery. Varaždin has a lot of Renaissance and Baroque buildings. It used to be the capital of Croatia its cultural center. Today Varaždin is a candidate for inclusion in the UNESCO World Heritage List.
Departure for the castle Trakošćan, considered one of the most beautiful ones in Croatia, was a former residence of famous Croatian family Drašković. The castle is known for its furniture and collection of weapons dating from the 15th to the 19th century.

Day 6: Zagreb - Kumrovec - Krapina - Zagreb
Departure and visit to Kumrovec. There is a museum "Staro selo" (Old Village - Eco-Village Kumrovec), a unique outdoor museum with preserved genuine village houses built in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, as well as ethnographic museums showing the traditional life and customs.
Kumrovec is also known as the birthplace of Josip Broz Tito, whose native house can also be visited.
We continue our journey to Krapina, known for the archaeological site of remains of Neanderthal men, who lived in the Old Stone Age.
On the archaeological site called Hušnjakovo brdo (Hušnjak's Hill) over 800 pieces of bones and teeth were collected. Thanks to this large number of remains, Krapina has been aknowledged as one of the richest Paleoanthropologic sites in the world.

Day 7: Zagreb - Plitvice - Zagreb
After the breakfast, departure for Plitvice. Tour of Plitvice National Park, the oldest and most visited Croatian national park, which consists of 16 larger and smaller lakes, rivers, streams and waterfalls. It is famous for its rich flora and fauna, forest paths and wooden bridges. This gives it a unique entity, registered in 1979 as part of UNESCO World Heritage.
